About This Project
BBI Calculator is a health and fitness application built around the Biometric Body Index, a body score designed to provide a broader view than BMI alone. The app combines weight, body fat percentage, waist circumference, and fitness level into a single score from 0 to 100. Users can complete guided body scans and fitness tests, review personalized insights, track changes over time, and visualize a goal-focused Future Self through AI photo imaging.
The Problem
What Needed Solving
Traditional BMI calculations rely mainly on height and weight, leaving out body composition, waist measurements, and real fitness performance. BBI Calculator needed to turn several different inputs into a clear mobile experience that could guide users through data collection, calculate a useful score, communicate areas for improvement, and keep users engaged with visible progress.
Combining Four Fitness Inputs
Weight, body fat percentage, waist circumference, and fitness level needed to work together as four equally weighted pillars of one understandable BBI Score.

How We Solved It
Software Pro delivered the iOS product as a guided fitness journey. The application collects personal goals, walks users through body scans and a structured fitness test, calculates the BBI Score, and presents personalized breakdowns in a progress dashboard. AI photo imaging powers the Future Self visualizer, while history and calendar views help users compare scans, tests, and scores over time. The delivery process included feature testing, scan-flow refinement, performance and stability optimization, subscription-flow improvements, and preparation for release through the Apple App Store.
